Student Leader Training
Description
This year, the CFC Conference is offering pre-conference training for campus ministry apprentices, interns and other student leaders. New campus ministers are also welcome to join. The pre-conference training will be held at University Church of Christ on Thursday, July 23, from 9 am to 3 pm, prior to the start of the main conference that night. Lunch will be provided.
The training will cover topics such as: how campus ministry fits into God’s kingdom mission, the inner life of a Godly leader, evangelism/outreach, and helping college students become disciples.
The training will be led by Dr. Chris Buxton, a longtime campus minister who teaches campus ministry for Harding University, Harding School of Theology, and Lipscomb University. Other veteran campus ministers may also contribute.
Campus ministers, please register the leaders from your ministry who will attend.
