Three Main Reasons - One Student writes about the three main reasons she chose to do a STEP with C4C after she graduated from University.

There were three main reasons I feel God leading me to do a one-year internship with C4C…

First, as a social work student at the University of Waterloo, this past year I had a placement where I worked with youth and their families. From this experience, I realized that the work I would do as a social worker would only deal with the symptoms of a deeper problem, which is that so many people do not know God. I had a desire to help people not only on a relational level but on a spiritual level as well.

Secondly, I want to do an internship with C4C because I want my life to be all about fulfilling the Great Commission. However, I am not sure if being a full time staff person on campus is for me. I have decided to try it out for a year and see if working on campus full time is something God would like me to be involved in long term. I know that if ever there is a time that I would be able to relate to students and work effectively on campus it would be now. As well, right now is the time when I have the ability to give a year to work on campus.

Lastly, I want to be part of changing the world. I have come to realize that only three things last forever, God, His Word and the souls of men and I want my life to make an eternal impact. C4C’s vision of winning, building and sending students excites me and I see how being apart of this movement is a way God can use me to have an eternal impact the world.
