What Is Partnership?

We believe that we stand on the threshold of a profound moment in history. As a generation we could see the culmination of a global vision: every person in the world having at least one chance to respond to Jesus Christ.

We are committed to building campus movements covering the entire world, movements that are staffed and led by national believers. As visitors this must be our goal, for nothing less is worth the effort. This means that our desire is to build up national leaders who will eventually replace us as the main working force, not only on the college campuses, but also in the community as a whole.

Every culture is unique and every person in the world made by God. Our desire is to see people reached with the Gospel, growing in their relationship with Christ and in turn sharing the Gospel with others. Our prayer is that Canada would become a great sending ground of missionaries. Canada has a golden passport for travel to difficult to reach places. We long not to send missionaries to exalt ourselves or the ministry of Campus for Christ, but simply to reach the nations - and by sending missionaries with the end goal of winning, building and sending in another country - missionaries will be raised up from other countries to continue taking the Gospel onwards to all places.

Presently, there are about 100 million university students around the world, a number that grows each year as many developing nations add new universities. These 100 million students are the future leaders of the world. Our partnerships internationally are with the intent of building movements among some of those 100 million people with the aim of seeing God raise people up to continue onto other parts of that 100 million people.

There are 5 stages to an international partnership:

  1. Summer Projects
  2. Short Term International (STINT) internships
  3. International Campus Staff
  4. National Staff
  5. Partnering Nations
