STINT

Stage 2: STINT - Short Term International

STINT allows you to have the opportunity to take the life-changing message of Christ to students around the world. You’ll be amazed at the similarities you find as you engage in conversation about your lives and be gripped by the spiritual need of the students you meet.

STINT is a one or two-year program on an international university campus, either as a foreign student or foreign language teacher. You will be aiding long-term workers in helping to raise up national leaders (individuals from that country) for the ministry.

The focus of STINT is evangelism and discipleship with opportunities for on-the-job training and personal development. You will be doing ministry in the context of a team, ministering alongside other Canadians and national students. STINT ideally builds on the evangelistic burst from a summer project onto a campus, but being on STINT does mean continuing to do evangelism.

On STINT you’ll be involved in creating a dynamic national ministry while you:

  • Open new ministries
  • Connect with students and show them their need for the gospel
  • Disciple and build believers in the ministry
  • Mentor students to become the ministry leaders God intends them to be, not only on the college campus, but also in the community

Within our partnership commitment, STINT builds on the momentum that was started on summer projects and establishes a long-term presence in that nation. On STINT you will have the opportunity to continue to build the partnership as you see students won to Christ, built up in their faith, and even sent out to other parts of their country or surrounding nations, sometimes all within one year!

So what are you doing next year? STINT opportunities
