Stage 4: National Staff - A new generation of leaders.

The mark of a great partnership is replacing us with someone who can take the job to the next level. Even the best from Canada will not have the same influence as a great national leader. We can become expert students of a country, but we can never be an insider. Our passion is to see God raise up nationals who lead spiritually - men and women who take the gospel to the next generation, change their country as a result, and begin to send from their country to all nations.

Your time in a country is a part of this vision. You could be involved in raising up the first generation of national Christian leaders. Imagine watching a graduate who you led to Christ in his first year, join national staff and begin leading other first year students to Christ much more effectively than you ever could because he is a fluent insider. Success is not found in sending Canadian after Canadian to reach a country for Christ, but in developing national leaders who lead better than we could ever dream. This is the goal - passing the baton to a new generation of leaders who will reach their nation and connect with the needs, culture, and mindset of their own people.
