Light bulb lesson: God places opportunities before me to step out in faith. It is always my choice whether or not to take that step. But if I do, He will always show me how faithful He is, and will stretch me and grow me like never before.

At the beginning of my 1st year, I attended the weekly meetings of 6-7 Christian clubs to see which one I should commit to. I liked Campus for Christ the most and stayed. At first I only went to the weekly meeting and joined a Bible study. Gradually I got more and more involved in different areas like worship team, leading a Bible study, going on a mission project, and serving on the Servant Team. God has used Campus for Christ to impact my life in huge ways. He has changed my perspective and taught me that every interaction I have with people in my everyday life is an opportunity to “be Him” to that person. He has stretched me out of my comfort zone and shown me how faithful He is.

I have found it harder to stay focused on God all the time since graduating, because I don’t have that campus environment anymore where I was surrounded with friends who were on fire for God and encouraged me in my faith. Now, at work, it feels like I’m “fighting” alone sometimes. I am involved in an “after-cru” group that a few of us started when we graduated, to continue to meet up and pray together and encourage each other and reach out together.
